What Materials can CITI Engineering Solutions Process?
We have the ability to cut most engineering materials with our diverse range of laser, water-jet and machining services. Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Engineering Plastics, High Tensile / Abrasion Steels, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel to name a few.
What types of files should I supply?
In most circumstance 3d STEP files or native SolidWorks files are becoming the universal format, they are best supplied with an attached 2d PDF document containing any relevant engineering notations such as tolerancing, tapped hole sizes and material requirements. However don’t be afraid to send in any other 2d or 3d digital or print documentation as we are experienced handling a vast array of different formats, we can also re-draft your designs from hand sketches, templates and samples if needed.
What sheet size and thickness can you cut?
We can cut sheet and plate sizes up to 6100 x 2000mm and thicknesses up 150mm.
What finishes do you offer?
We can offer a wide range of finishes, as rolled mill finish, machined, sanded or polished. Surface finishes include Powder Coating, Wet Spraying, Zinc Plating, Galvanising, Nickel Plating, Chrome Plating and Tin Plating.
